1. Introduction

Welcome to the Testimonial Module documentation! This guide walks you through installing, configuring, and customizing our easy-to-use HubSpot testimonial module. By the end, you’ll be able to showcase client reviews, ratings, and success stories in stunning layouts—no coding required.

 

 

2. Installation and Setup

2.1 Install the Module from the HubSpot Marketplace
  1. Locate the Module: Search for “Testimonial Module” in the HubSpot Marketplace. 
  2. Click Purchase Module
  3. Select Your HubSpot Account: Choose which HubSpot portal you want to install the module in.
  4. Complete the Installation: Follow the prompts, and wait for the installation confirmation.

2.2 Add the Module to a Page or Template
  1. Open Your HubSpot CMS: Navigate to Content > Website Pages (or Landing Pages, if applicable).
  2. Edit or Create a Page: Click Edit on an existing page or create a new one.
  3. Drag & Drop the Module: In the Modules tab, find the Testimonial Module and drag it into your page layout.
  4. Apply and Publish: Click Publish or Update to push your changes live.

 

 

3. Module Configuration

3.1 Layout Selection
  1. Grid or Slider: Choose between a clean grid layout or an engaging slider for your testimonials.
  2. Columns and Spacing: Specify the number of columns (e.g., 2 or 3) and adjust column spacing for a balanced design.

3.2 Background & Color Customization
  1. Solid or Gradient Background: Select your preferred style to match your brand’s look.
  2. Font Styles & Colors: Adjust typography, text color, and size for testimonials, names, and other elements.

3.3 Slider Controls (If Using Slider Layout)
  1. Auto-Scroll or Autoplay: Enable continuous scrolling or set a timed rotation for testimonials.
  2. Navigation Elements: Customize slider arrows, dots, and spacing to create a seamless user experience.
  3. Hide/Show Elements: Choose which parts of the testimonial (e.g., author name, photo, rating) to display or hide.

4. Best Practices for Testimonials

  • Highlight Authentic Reviews: Use real client names, photos, and specific details to add credibility.
  • Mix-Up Layouts: Try different combinations of grid and slider to see which resonates best with your audience.
  • Keep It Fresh: Regularly update your testimonials to reflect new and relevant feedback.

 

 

5. Publish and Test

  1. Save Your Changes: Click Apply or Save in the HubSpot Page Editor. 
  2. Preview Your Page: Confirm that the testimonial section displays correctly on desktop and mobile.
  3. Publish: Make your changes live so visitors can see and interact with your testimonials.
